I certainly would like to meet someone who would like to meet me and Lindsay seems to be a very interesting person. She has met quite a few famous people, and I think it might be interesting chatting to her about that. And then we have a few destinations in common, so that’s something else to talk about.

Yup, I’ve met her and I’m happy to call her a friend!

What happens with me and Asbury26 is that we don’t really meet at local cafés every now and then. We meet in places like Berlin, Newcastle, Tampere and New York, with a few years in between. I have no idea what the next place will be or when, but suddenly Mexico seems to be looming on the map.

When you have one of your best friends living in Finland, you sure want to meet him, right? We’ve met before – usually in connection to a Bruce concert – so we should meet again. Obviously, it’s a shame he hasn’t put on “Mexico” on his list of places to go. But then again, SPringsteen has never played here… Coincidence???

Of course I want to meet anyone who wants to meet me. Do you really live in Puebla, Mexico? That would make meeting a little more difficult, but it could happen. It sounds like our lives are roughly parallel already… cooking, gardens, house revamping, teaching, travels (even some identical destinations).

I would be more than happy to discuss cooking with you. I have some clearly defined ideas and some good references.

So, gobsmacked…. are you Irish?

Just read about your conversation with Husband and I’d like to talk about cooking, especially with someone who REALLY knows. I think I can cook, but I’m more improvising than knowing. So, for me David Braun seems a cool guy to hang out with.

Would love to hang out with the man, go bowling and just let life flow. Would even try a White Russian, just to suck up some of the coolness.

Because I think there wasn’t a single period for Burt Lancaster to not be good and successful. I like his movies from the 50s as much as his latest work in the late 80s or early 90s. Favourite Lancaster movie of all time? Must be “Gunfight at the O.K. Corral” – Burt and Kirk together, all those dialogues. A true Western classic.

Just saw that MochaMom gave some of my entries 4 cheers, so I was curious to see who she was and then I read some of her things to do and places she’s been to and she wants to go to and I think it’d be nice to meet her for a cup of coffee. Think we could talk for a long time. So, my best wishes go out to her!
